Our firm is dedicated to personalized service while attempting to reach the best solution for your family law problems. Most of our cases settle before going to trial. We feel that agreements reached by the parties are more effective in the long run than orders issued by the court.

We may recommend counseling or mediation in connection with our legal services. Good marriage and parenting counselors are available. We typically recommend counseling where appropriate prior to filing a lawsuit in a family law matter. Individual counseling can also be helpful during and after the divorce process. If children are involved, many counties require mediation as a prerequisite to a divorce hearing if the parents can’t agree on custody arrangements. Mediation is where both parents would meet with a neutral third party who will help them try to reach agreements regarding their children.
